The Vogalonga 2025 by Kayak in Venice

The Vogalonga 2025 is a historic non-competitive regatta in Venice, open to all rowing boats. Covering around 30 km through the canals and lagoon, it brings together enthusiasts from around the world to celebrate the rowing tradition and raise awareness of preserving Venice’s environment.

The Vogalonga is a non-competitive celebration for all rowers.

This peaceful protest against wave damage caused by motor boats, and lagoon degeneration,brings together Venetians and enthusiasts from around the world.

After the traditional cannon shot, which marks the start of the event, the 30 km itinerary will take us through the canals close to the Vignole, Sant'Erasmo, San Francesco del Deserto, the two largest islands Burano and Murano and will conclude the adventure by crossing the Grand Canal, surrounded by the splendid Venetian palaces.

Any person over the age of 16 can register for the event. Minors under the age of 16 can join the race as long as they are accompanied by an adult with parental responsibility.
